Ayuda humanitaria Refugiados de Ucrania

The evolution of the situation in Ukraine has accelerated EDP's support to the Ukrainian people. The company has activated contacts with partners and organizations and is now calling for employee participation.

With the awakening of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, EDP has strengthened relations with the most relevant national and international partners and also with the teams located in bordering countries, specifically in Romania and Poland.

EDP will offer, as soon as possible, a global response to the different real needs that are being identified by the best accredited NGOs with the most experience in the field. These institutions are identifying the main needs, which will allow us to act more effectively and in accordance with the identified priorities.

Also appealing to the involvement of all employees who show interest in supporting this cause, EDP wants to add solutions -either through food or monetary donations- to help all those who are currently victims of this conflict.

To guarantee immediate support, EDP makes a financial donation to Doctors of the World and the International Red Cross.

EDPR, thanks to its presence in the Polish, Romanian and Hungarian markets, will also provide important support to the towns on the border with Ukraine, Tomaszów Lub., Jarczów and Tyszowce in Poland and Tulcea in Romania.

If you wish to participate and contribute with help through any of these organizations, you can access the official links and data mentioned above.

Parallel to the financial aid, EDP is in contact with the NGO Doctors of the World to promote a campaign to collect goods in the countries where the EDP Group is present. The news on this subject will be communicated as soon as possible, so that all those who wish can join this help. In the same vein, EDP contacted various government authorities to ensure active participation in the collective effort to support the reception of refugees.

The moment we are unfortunately experiencing reinforces the importance of EDP's role as a socially responsible organization, which is why we will closely monitor the situation in Ukraine and its impact on the world in order to contribute to supporting all those affected. EDP will continue to strengthen the dialogue with the organizations that work on the ground to guarantee real and effective support given the urgency.

We call for everyone's participation and we appreciate the contacts and help we have received in recent days.
