O SPEAK uma startup que promove uma metodologia inovadora para combater o isolamento e promover a criação de redes de suporte através da aprendizagem de uma nova língua.  Neste momento, o SPEAK ainda está a funcionar em formato online através de videoconferência, em pequenos grupos intensivos para qualquer pessoa que queira aprender ou praticar uma língua e estar mais próxima de outros.

 O modelo será de livre acesso (gratuito), sendo que quem quiser poderá contribuir com o valor que considerar adequado e simbólico.

Esta é a contribuição para que consigamos mesmo dentro das nossas casas partilhar o nosso mundo, garantindo que, apesar das fronteiras se estarem a fechar, as nossas mentes seguem livres e mais abertas que nunca.

Oportunidade de voluntariado:

Poderás juntar-te ao SPEAK como buddy e partilhar e ensinar a tua língua nativa, ou uma língua na qual sejas fluente, a outras pessoas, contribuindo para o combate ao isolamento social e promovendo a ineterculturalidade.

Os grupos de línguas online consistem em:

- 12 sessões de 90 minutos (de segunda a sexta-feira): 

• 2 vezes por semana (6 semanas)   OU
• 3 vezes por semana (1 mês)

- Com dois níveis diferentes: básico (I, II e III) e conversacional.

- 1 buddy e 4 a 7 participantes.

- Horários são estabelecidos conforme a tua disponibilidade.

SPEAK is a startup that promotes an innovative methodology to combat isolation and social exclusion and promote the creation of support networks for migrants and refugees, through the learning of a new language and cultural exchange events. At the moment, SPEAK is still operating in an online format through videoconferencing, in small groups for anyone who wants to learn or practice a language and be closer to others. With a network of over 45,000 people worldwide, SPEAK wants to create truly inclusive cities that value and promote Diversity. 

You can join SPEAK as a buddy and share and teach your native language, or a language in which you are fluent, to other people, contributing to the fight against social isolation and promoting interculturality. Your motivation and dedication is all you need to help other people learn a language, whether it is your native or another language you are fluent in. 

SPEAK gives you access to materials for your language sessions and suggestions for games and group exercises which you can use to create a fun and informal environment without any additional pressure. 

The online language groups consist of:

- 12 sessions of 90 minutes (held on weekdays) and you can do them on a regime of:

• 2 sessions per week ( total 6 week experience); 
• 3 sessions per week (total experience of 1 month)

- With two different levels: basic (I, II and III) and conversational.

- Each language group has 1 buddy and 4-7 participants.

- Timetables are set according to your availability.
